Online Ventures Asia is looking for an exceptional SEO strategist who fully understands how to drive quality, targeted traffic to websites. They should be always forward looking in respect to SEO and be willing to stay on top of the latest industry news and standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a SEO strategist is always changing, and may take involve “overlap” between several agency roles.

While their roles may be broad in scope, the goal of a SEO strategist is clear, to drive quality leads towards a clients website in a safe (Whitehat) method that offers long term value to the client.

• Perform exhaustive competitive analysis on client’s online market
• Create tests, collect data and results to analyize trends and develop an insight on achieving the highest ROI for a client’s campaign
• Track website analytical data consisting of several channels including organic, social, paid channels and to determine the most cost effective approach to obtaining new leads
• Optimizing landing pages for both search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
• To Fully understand a client’s marketing needs and to strategize on the best short term and long-term outcomes
• Develop, implement and manage effective link-building campaigns
• Research competitors link profile, content and other competitive areas which would add benefit to our client’s campaign
• Understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming in order to make changes to a client’s website.
• Work with content providers to ensure that the quality and message is consistent with the needs of a SEO and CRO mindset
• Always add value to a client’s search engine marketing campaign

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3 plus years in a SEO related position, involving keyword, link building and SERPs analysis
• Full understanding of search engine optimization as outlined in Google Standards for SEO.
• Understand the difference between White Hat and Black Hat SEO
• Have a functional understanding of SEO tools such as MOZ, Majestic, Raven, Alexa and SEM Rush.
• Enjoy working late hours with the goal of gaining a competitive edge for a seo campaign
• Extremely competitive in nature, loves a challenge
